HandsOn NWNC provides a wide variety of valuable services at a reasonable cost for businesses and corporations seeking engagement with the nonprofit sector. Whether a business is looking to expand or enhance employee volunteer activities, prepare associates to serve as effective members on local board of directors, or wants to create a one-time, service-based team building activity, we are uniquely positioned to help make community engagement “work” for business. HandsOn NWNC knows that community involvement can have a big impact on the bottom line as both customers and employees look for companies that have a proven track record of social responsibility.

We provide a range of offerings that allow companies to meet their business objectives while being responsive to the realities of the nonprofit sector. We provide consulting to companies that need assistance with project development and management, program development and growth, special events or one-time service opportunities. We can train associates and employees to serve on boards, and help strengthen your company’s internal volunteer program. All you need to do is pick up the phone, and we’ll be happy to structure a package that works for you!

While all fees are negotiated on a per-project basis with each individual company, here are some sample offerings:

Local Connections - FREE!

We’ll be happy to share your opportunity or project idea with the more than 200 nonprofits in our network free of charge. Alternatively, we can provide a list for certain prescribed purposes upon request.

Group Projects / Recruitment and Referral:
$10/person (minimum $100)

Looking for ideas for a one-day service project? We’ll help you identify your needs and resources, recruit three project ideas that meet your criteria, and help match you with corresponding nonprofits.

Group Projects / Development and Management:
$25/person (minimum $500)

Would you like to offer a service day or project to your employees, but just don’t have the time to manage all the logistics yourself? In addition to recruiting appropriate projects that meet your criteria, we’ll provide our own touch of HandsOn technical assistance, help monitor the planning process, and provide ways to evaluate the results.

Consulting and Outsourcing:
Negotiated on a Per-Project Basis

We can help your company strategize on any of the following topics. Of course, initial meetings are free, and each consulting package is individually negotiated.

• Creation and Growth of Employee Volunteer Programs (organizational readiness and positioning, employee surveys and focus groups, technical assistance, employee volunteer program management, public relations and marketing, professional development workshops)
• Special Events (kickoff events, recognition fairs, volunteer fairs, workshops and seminars)
• Board member training, referral and placement services
